Take a closer look at art and let it inspire your words.

In this creative writing workshop led by Cindy Beer-Fouhy, participants will explore the museum’s collection through ekphrastic writing - using visual art as a starting point for poetry, storytelling, reflection, and imagination. Through observation and guided prompts, discover the stories, emotions, memories, and ideas that can emerge from a work of art.

No writing or art experience is necessary. Come curious, bring your imagination, and see where our art and your words take you.
