About The Event

We're hosting a second Hand-bound Journal Workshop at the museum!

Surrounded by inspiring artworks and the quiet magic of the museum, join us for a hands-on journal-making workshop led by Artist Katy Repka. In this creative session, you’ll design and create your own hand-bound paper journal from start to finish, making something truly personal.

Decorate the covers with your own artwork, words, or meaningful details, then let your imagination take over. Fill the pages with sketches, drawings, paintings, notes, reflections, plans, or dreams - there are no rules, just space to explore and express.

Your finished journal becomes a beautiful blank slate for creativity, self-reflection, or everyday inspiration. Keep it as a personal treasure or gift it to someone special. All skill levels are welcome, and all materials are provided - just bring your curiosity and creativity.

🗓️ Sunday, March 8th | 2 - 4 PM

🎨 Limited to 6 participants

🏛️ $40 per participant - includes museum admission, materials, and supplies

🖍️ RSVP Required (non-refundable registration required by March 6th)

After payment, you will receive an email confirmation and ticket(s). You may either print your ticket or present the digital version upon arrival. Due to the small-group nature of the Workshop, all purchases are final - refunds will not be issued.

If you have any questions, please email info@skylandsmuseum.org or call us at 973-729-3323.

Looking forward to seeing you there!
